Sooooo good! I had my cousins come spend the night and I ended up ordering from Saj mixed grills, kibba, salad, rice, fries, lemon mint lemonade kaman!! Everything was delicious my Absolute fav was the kufta kabab! And the lemon mint lemonade kaman!! In my honest opinion i think it’s my fav in Paterson it’s not toooo sweet and not sour it’s excellent and awesome customer service! Thanks guys for a great meal!

Amazing food, excellent ambiance, and a great selection of hookah options. Please disregard the negative reviews—most of them are for a different restaraunt which is not affiliated with this restaurant. The quality here is truly top-notch. Every time I visit, the food is served fresh, hot, and full of flavor. This is my go-to spot for a platter or sandwich. I highly recommend the Whole Chicken Platter and the Chicken Shawarma Sandwich paired with the amazing garlic and hot sauce —they truly know how to make things right here.

Very disappointing experience. We sat at the table for 15–20 minutes and no one came to take our order. Staff was rude and completely unprofessional. After finally ordering, the food took 40–45 minutes to arrive, so its takes total 1 hour and on top of that, it’s overpriced. The worst part was at billing. They added excessive tax and automatically included a tip without even asking. I clearly said I did not want to give a tip, and the response was basically it’s automatic.That’s unacceptable. A tip is optional and should depend on service, not forced. Poor management, bad attitude, and zero respect for customers. Definitely not coming back and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Really enjoyed my time at Saj. The hookah was smooth and well-made, the lounge has a calm vibe, and the tea was great too. It’s an easy spot to relax for the night — definitely worth checking out if you’re deciding between places.
