This place has a really cool vibe, the music was dope, and the decor was unpretentious. I came in a larger party so we got to eat "family style" which was awesome because I got to taste a bit of everything. We had the Garlic Bread, Caesar Salad, Fried Mozz, Rigatoni Vodka, Spaghetti Pomodoro, Garlic & Oil, Chicken Parm, Chicken Milanese, and a big side of Ricotta. It. Was. Phenomenal. Everything was good, but my personal favorites were the Garlic Bread (I am a garlic lover), the Fried Mozz which is apparently a newer menu item, the Rigatoni Vodka and the Chicken Milanese. The sauces taste rich, it's obvious everything is made in-house. I grew up on the East Coast, so this food all felt like a warm hug in my soul. I'm not sure why people get in a tizzy about their "no modifications" ru
DEATH ROW MEAL. The service and server were amazing, drinks amazing. Food killer, worth the price, homemade pasta wins for me every time. Loved the vibe, happy we didn’t have to wait for a table but we did come early 530. Loved them with their food truck and still love them now.
You want a NY style cutlet and perfect al dente pasta? This is the spot. There are numerous signs saying they decline any modification requests. When I sat down, I politely let them know I was allergic to tomato and pine nuts, a class 2+ allergic reaction so cross contamination won't cause serious issues, but that takes out most of the menu items if I don't want a bunch of mouth and throat blisters, could they either leave red sauce, or tomatoes off an item? They said one way or another they'd take care of me, and what were the details of my restrictions. I ordered the bucatini and said I wanted the milanese but also said I'd be happy with a plain cutlet if they couldn't modify the milanese, no worries, I get it. I received the bucatini with a cutlet dressed in the most flavorful and fresh
Just eat here. You will not regret it. The food will knock your socks off. The music is loud, but hits perfectly. If you are someone who is easily overstimulated, maybe bring some earplugs. Our server was really sweet and helped us pay our bill quickly so we could be on time for an event nearby. Really can't wait to come back. I have been dreaming of the Bucatini Limone topped with Ricotta. It was so good. It haunts me.
I had a great impromptu dinner here! Got the rigatoni vodka which was great! Some peppers with lots of flavor, al denté pasta. I added the chicken cutlet which was perfectly crispy. Definitely individual portions, I had a bit leftover as well. Fun inviting ambiance in a small intimate setting. Great music and great decour. Sat at the bar and service was fantastic. It’s hard to justify the cost, $50 after tip for a glass of wine and the pasta dish in a casual setting. I will have to try their other dishes next time I go!
