I have known this restaurant for more than 30yrs. It is by far the best food I have ever had. When I live in Hartford and worked in downtown I ate here for lunch every day. I ve been living in Florida for 22yrs and I still visit this restaurant every time I visit Ct. My daughter still lives in CT and always makes sure to stop at Saigon and bring me some of their delicious food whenever she comes to visit me. I miss this food and there is no place like it. It’s really one of a kind!

Their food is good that’s not the problem. It’s Their service they will literally give you whatever they have left and still charge you full price knowing that does not the full servant size and won’t give you no accommodations or anything for the lady always answer. The phone with an attitude are very aggressive other than that, pretty nice spot to go to for lunch just don’t go last minute

i’ve never left a google review but for this experience I have to. i’ve been going here for yearssss and I just had the WORST experience and won’t be going back. I called to place and order which I was then told there was only one order of what I wanted and if I didn’t get there in 10 minutes it would be given away (is that not the purpose of calling ahead?) and before I could respond the lady told me “i’m busy bye” and hung up on me. upon entering the store lo and behold they have no white rice. and I can’t eat fried rice. which she then told me she hung up on me because she couldn’t hear me and it’d be another 30 minutes for white rice. as good as the food is they will never be getting my service again. they just lost a long time customer.

Stopped here for lunch at a classmate's recommendation and was pleasantly surprised. The food is prepared fresh once ordered and doesn't take long to be prepared. I had Chicken w/ Garlic Sauce over fried rice and loved how crunchy the veggies were.

Went there 25 years ago when I used to work downtown. I have been chasing the taste of their sesame chicken ever since, no one does it as good. The food always comes out piping hot, and the chicken is so crispy and flavorful. My absolute favorite for American Chinese
