Saigon Chicken House

This place is known for its bò né (Vietnamese sizzling steak), and that part did not disappoint, it was delicious. However, the rest of the dishes were just average. Service also fell short; it was a slow day, yet both the waiter and waitress stayed behind the counter and weren’t attentive. I had to get their attention a few times, which became frustrating.. What we ordered: -Pork/shrimp Spring rolls 7/10 -Vermicelli fish soup 7/10 -Vietnamese sizzling steak 10/10

Food was absolutely amazing and the staff is very friendly! The young woman even played with my niece while we ate. Definitely recommend this place!

I stopped here yesterday because it was the first restaurant I found and needed shelter from the Nor'easter that was pounding Boston. The waitresses were very friendly and immediately asked whether I want hot or cold tea. Their pho was also good. It made my first trip to Boston memorable.

Bò né is good, but a little sweet. Bánh mì muối ớt portion is quite big. The pork floss on it is quite salty, but overall it is good. I don't recommend the bánh khọt here. The bánh itself feels too much after a bite or two. Also the portion is wat too big for an appetizer. It is also not very crispy. Their menu has a lot of interesting items; I'd come back to try other dishes.

Location: not in the best location... I was looking forward to visit Little Saigon since we're from out of state but it's not the best place. Seems a bit stretchy and scary around walking around. FOOD: overall it was DELICIOUS A3. Cánh Gà Chiên Nước Mắm Fried Chicken Wing w/Fish Sauce B6. Cơm Chiên Gà Xối Mở - my son loved it. However, when I tried the rice, I can tell it was bad... My son couldn't tell. D4. Cơm Tấm Tôm & Thịt Nướng Broken Rice w/ Grilled Pork & Grilled Shrimp E12. Bún Bò Xào Lăn Vermicelli w/Stir Fried Beef M6. Gà Hấp Lá Chanh Chicken Steam w/Lemon Leaf SERVICE - Staff were friendly & welcoming - However, they don't check on you much like American restaurant. Atmosphere: it's okay but clean
