Sai Saravana Bhavan – Herndon’s Best ToGo Indian Vegetarian Restaurant

So disappointed to get a completely different than what i ordered. When i called restaurant they tried to blame the driver when it was not clearly not driver's fault.

Updated Review 09/06 : --------- Amazing Friday Lunch Thali - Fried Rice, chapathi, kurma, spinach dall, potato, sambar , rasam, white rice, pickle, white rice, tamarind gravy, kesari desert , papad. Excellent flavors.. Also , Too Much Food for 17$. Pics below . This place has never Disappointed me. All the Best ! ---old review below---- Excellent TO GO South Indian Food. The following, which is a breakfast platter of Idli, Vada, Pongal and Sweet + Sambar , Coconut chutney, Spicy tomato chutney is ONLY 9$. Excellent and Consistant Quality Everytime I go there. The Coconut chutney was so fresh that I ate that before taking the picture... MUST TRY This place is inside the Lotte in Herndon.

Be aware this Garbage place Stay away from this trash food. Literally food is contaminated in this Spot. They selling old trash reheated food. GOD BLESS AMERICA 🇺🇸 Made a complaint already to Fairfax Health department as well Please save lives from this disgusting place

This is my first time trying HSB in the NOVA region, and I thought the place delivered to some extent. I tried the medu vada, kothu parotta, parotta kurma , and urundai curry. Except Urundai curry (which is a South Indian delicacy), all other dishes were spot on. The vadas were soft, crispy, and delicious. The sambar was bit on the daal consistency and lacked tang, but decent. Of all the items, parotta kurma was the definitely the best, and I recommend it. Overall, if you are craving for South Indian comfort vegetarian food, I recommend HSB.

Food was good, server had knowledge on food menu, She was the only one taking orders and brining food. I love dosa it was done well. Customer service is non existent in most South Indian restaurants. Maybe it's cultural.
