This restaurant is an absolute gem for anyone craving real Nepali food. Everything tasted fresh, homemade, and full of rich, traditional flavors. The momos were perfectly steamed with juicy, well-seasoned filling, and the achar had just the right kick of spice. The dal bhat was comforting and satisfying, but the highlight for me was the dhido (dedho) — cooked to perfect consistency and served hot. Paired with gundruk, fresh tarkari, and flavorful curry, it tasted just like a homemade meal from Nepal. You can truly feel the authenticity and care in every bite. I dont normally leave reviews but this place blew my mind that I had to leave one. The vibe of the place was amazing. The waitress was very nice and attentive. We got their kabuli naan, garlic naan, malai kofta, and Veggie Jhol Momo. I’ve tried so many malai kofta at other Indian restaurants, and this is by far the best I’ve ever had. The curry and the kofta were life changing. It also comes with rice which is very generous of them. The naan was the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly crispy, flavorful, and tender. Must try their kabuli naan. 10/10 would come back again. Literally the best.

I couldn't believe the reviews at first but I genuinely enjoyed all the dishes I tried. I didn't even go for the staple specialties and just wanted to try some dishes I know well. The Malai Kofta was really rich and buttery, reminded me of the gravy from paneer butter masala in India. The kofta was one of the best I've tried too, great filling and very flavorful. The Garlic Naan was literally the best I've ever tried, it's baked so well in terms of light and airy crispiness which I haven't seen even anywhere else. The added flavors really complement it well too. The Kabuli Naan was like a nice potato stuffed and well flavored taste, great to eat just by itself too, but I definitely preferred the garlic naan. After many years of living in Nepal, I can honestly say this is some of the VERY BEST authentic Nepali food I've found in San Francisco. The Thakali Thali is true traditional Nepali style and the momo's are delcious. Authentic, clean and fresh tasting food and a very welcoming environment. So happy to have this new addition to the neighborhood!
