Saffron Restaurant

This is my absolute favorite spot when I’m craving an authentic taste of home. I live in Jersey City and happily make the 30-minute drive almost every week because the food is just that good. The beef and chicken curries are incredibly flavorful, and the biryani and roast pulao are top-tier. My only suggestion for improvement is the parking; it can be a bit of a challenge for customers, but the food makes it worth the trip!

Delicious. But so cheap. I ordered a goat curry and a chicken biryani. The curry was good but I got a bone biryani instead.I tried this restaurant for the first time, and I dont think ill come here again. I paid 13 dollars for some bones and rice. There wasnt even 50 grams of chicken in that. What a shame.

I had an amazing experience at Saffron Restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious authentic Indian, Pakistani, and Bangladeshi flavors that tasted homemade and full of rich spices. The biryani, curries, and grilled items were outstanding, and the portions were generous. The staff was very friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect. I also appreciate that the restaurant is Halal certified and open late, which is so convenient. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, perfect for both casual dining and family gatherings. They even offer catering, which I’ll definitely keep in mind for future events.

All the food was absolutely delicious! Every dish was full of authentic flavors, freshly prepared, and beautifully presented. The butter chicken, naga wings and the biryani was a standout — rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The rest of the dishes were just as amazing. Great customer service!! a truly satisfying experience. Definitely a place I’d love to visit again!

I recently visited this small Bangladeshi restaurant and was truly impressed by how amazing the food and service were. We started with fresh, perfectly crispy pakoras that set the tone for the meal. For dinner, the beef karahi was outstanding—rich, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The naan, daal, salad, and chicken roast all complemented each other beautifully, each dish full of authentic Bangladeshi flavors. To finish, we enjoyed jalebi with tea, and it was the perfect sweet ending to an already fantastic meal. Despite being a small restaurant, the quality of the food was top-notch, and the staff were extremely polite and attentive. A hidden gem—highly recommended for anyone looking for delicious, flavorful, and comforting Bangladeshi cuisine! Reasonably priced HMS certified
