Safeway

Placed an order for my niece that lives in cottonwood for her birthday since I live far away. Pictures are what I ordered, and what she received. This was suppose to be special. Instead, I was embarrassed for what she got for the price I paid.

I have experienced more rude employees in this store than I have in the entire town of Cottonwood. They are mostly cashiers and they act like they are doing you a favor by just being in their presence. I do not complain, I just observe and I realized, it's not the customers as I see them treat everyone this way, all while right in front of the customer service booth, which I just assume has a manager in it. I know it's hard to find good employees, but really.

Phil in Produce deserves a real shout out for excellent customer service. On Tuesday 02/10/26 I had been completing my weekly shopping and had only 1 item left to pick up, (from my wife's list). That item was French's Onion in a can. I spent at least 20 minutes looking for this item and then wondered back into produce where I met Phil. Phil said follow me and took me directly to this product which was in canned vegetables. Phil made my day, and I told him so. Thanks again Phil great job.

Best staff ever! They have hearts! Corporate needs to realize the workers nicesness, professionzlism, personality and care is the reason we'd rather spend a little more than Frys!! Can you imagine if safeway had a paid memebership?! First hour of first day of weekky sale from 6a-7a paid members only. They cpuld get free delivery too. Costco style!

Safeway is my go to grocery store. One thing I dislike is the digital coupons, not being able to get the discount without having your phone on you at the store. The entire world is this way nowadays so I won’t hold it against them. I want to recognize the manager at Safeway, he gifted our nonprofit a $40 gift card towards donuts for our event. I will always support a business who is for their community! Thank you Safeway for your contributions towards Cottonwood.
