Safe Harbor Seafood Market

This market was massive, had so many selections to pick from and all the fresh seafood looked amazing. First I noticed for a seafood market was just how well it smelled. Cleanliness was top notch. Lots of staff for service so not long waits. Prices were readonable.

I ordered the blackened po boy shrimp and it was great. The service was excellent and the food was hot. The prices are fair for the amount of food you order. I would definitely return and recommend this establishment to my family and friends.

We love driving up to Mayport for their fresh shrimp off the boat. Their new huge premises let you see all the other offerings. Staff is friendly and helpful. There is almost always a special on 🦐. They are closed on Mondays as the shrimp boats don't go out on Sunday. They provide you with free ice.

This was my first visit and I bought some scallops, two different size shrimp and my husband and I a souvenir T-shirt. Yes, also grabbed some seasonings that are a plenty inside! My only one star less is due to the fact that they did not offer crawfish. I was so craving some and was very surprised. Still the place has plenty of free paved parking, the building is HUGE and there are even some desserts in the far back case to the left. There is a orderly line w/markers or rope for the busy season and they call you up to the case to make your selections in an orderly manner. The workers are friendly and patient and when we went, it looked like each customer got a team member to themselves who helped us with each product we wanted. Shrimp is incredible. French fries limp and unseasoned. Cole slaw not good. Food was prepared fast but French fries needed to cook longer. Views are beautiful. Better off just getting shrimp not the platters, sides are not good. $40 for a shrimp platter, dessert and one 🍺 beer. Service was good. It's basically order at the counter and seat yourself place, which I don't mind.
