Sadie Pope Dowdell Public Library

Hands down worst library in the area. It’s basically one small room with 4 old, nasty women who like to sit, chat with each other and do zero work. They keep the bathrooms locked so they don’t have to clean them and blame it on “kids coming in and doing bad things”. Meanwhile, no one ever comes into this library. At anytime of day, you could hear a pin drop. It’s difficult to even access this place because they put road blocks everywhere. There’s a general feeling of them not wanting anyone to come in so they can sit, get paid and not do any work. The library director should be ashamed of how she runs this place. Save yourself the trip and avoid this place. Better yet, complain to the township about how this place is run because your tax dollars are being completely wasted here.

Go here if you don't mind being assaulted by crazy, angry, rude staffers. All because they didn't want someone doing something that is completely legal. Their policy doesn't give them the right to put their hands on the public or their belongings. Shameful

The woman that wears R.Lauren Jacket, aka the queen herself, is rude, and combative, and thinks she can "confiscate" other people's property because it "violates" library policy, but does not break the law.

From the wide selection of children books that I read when I was younger to playing games on the computers when I became a teenager. Everything is great and always has been!
