On a Friday afternoon, we had an outstanding bartender who made us some top-notch cocktails. Get the vaquero with mezcal and the mesquite-smoked old fashioned.

Had high expectations because it was 4.9 stars, however the food was flavorless and/or over cooked. One of the things we ordered was a omelette that came to us burned and rubbery. We gave the plate back and the manager took it off the tab but never came to apologize or try and make it better. The Grilled chicken had a good portion size however it wasn’t seasoned well and the vegetables were watery and flavorless. The omelette is shown in photo.

This was a great little tavern out in Douglas. The bartender was great and put up with the 6 of us that were there. The drinks were great and decently price. We ordered some bar food and it was great. This place is a must when visiting Douglas.

Nice bar and restaurant in the beautiful Gadsden Hotel. I ordered the chipotle cream penne pasta with shrimp and it was excellent. The bartender served as my waiter and the service was also excellent. Be aware that the suggested tip calculation on the receipt is the after-tax total. Hope the manager changes that to the honest pre-tax total. I will not remove a star for that as my experience was otherwise excellent.

The food was very good, the prices are very accessible, the service was great and the place itself is so nice.
