Sad Boyz

Its a little breakfast / burger place in the middle of nowhere. They have become well known for their burgers and they did not disappoint this guy! The place was packed when I got there around 1230. Mind you, it is a small place but they care of you pretty quickly. I ordered a double smash burger with American, lettuce, tomatoes, onion, and their secret sad boyz sauce. It took about 15 minutes for me to get my order. Not bad! The brioche bun was toasted nicely. The burgers were seasoned well, juicy, and cooked to perfection. The not shredded lettuce was plentiful. The tomatoe was cut thick enough where I could taste it on the burger. The burger had pickles and relish on the bottom which added some nice flavor to it. The secret sauce was ok. We were finally able to make it to Sad Boyz and give their highly heralded hamburgers a try and we were hardly disappointed in the least. After a morning of hiking in Batsto Village we were famished and ready for a good meal. We were immediately greeted by their friendly and helpful staff, the spot is well kept and clean with a modern vibe to it. We went for their classic double and triple stack burgers, which were tasty, grilled smash style and perfect. The burgers came with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, onions and their special Sad Boyz sauce, it is sandwiched between a big, fresh and delicious brioche bun. The beef that they use is of the highest quality and in my mind is what separates it from any other burgers. We accompanied our food with a large order of their excellent homemade fries

Great food, great service, great atmosphere. This is a must stop if you are in the area. The breakfast sandwiches are delicious. I can’t wait to return and try the smash burgers.

The food was very good and fresh, served hot just the way it should be. The staff were so nice and polite, which made the experience even better. Highly recommend.

I’m not in town often, but if I was, I’d be getting food from here more often! 👍👍 Got a sausage, egg and cheese on a bagel and it was absolutely delicious! The bagel was very thick and packed full with eggs & sausage and a good amount of cheese. I like that the eggs are thin and layered and perfectly cooked. The hash brown was on point, crunchy and salty as it should be! Everyone is very nice as the building is always clean. Definitely a good spot to check out if you’re in town.
