Sabor Latino Deli

This hole in the wall has the BEST authentic food. Pork tacos, stuffed with juicy, tasty meat. Chicken tacos pretty damn good as well. Empanada...who doesn't love a freshly made empanada. You have to try this place!! The Cuban is excellent!

I went to sugar bakery today. Saw this deli which had Ecuadorian options hence went in. I always wanted to try humitas- this is the first time I tried. It was fresh & warm. They had variety of empanadas. I ordered jalapeño & cheese. It was made to order empanada not reheated one. It was nice. Try this place for some Ecuadorian snacks. 👍

I am a foodie and have tried plenty Latino/mexican restaurants in New Haven County. I am picky. I’ve had their Asada burritos more than once and it’s amazing. The staff is helpful and on top of it

Ordered steak and cheese subs around 1:30. Not only were the sandwiches missing lettuce and tomato but there were pieces of egg inside. Shows that they don’t clean their stove/griddle they cook on. Luckily I noticed because I have an egg allergy

I ordered an Encebollado (Ecuadorian dish) and Bolon de chicharrón, horrible I would never go back again. The staff is friendly but these dishes they don’t know how to prepare. The encebollado was mixto it was all soup few (5) squares of hard fish, 3 shrimps and the yuca was hard. The bolon very small and had like 2 chicharrones. These dishes are nothing like in my country Ecuador where the food is delicious. Let’s not talk about the price for what I got this is a rip off.
