Sabor Ecuatoriano # 2

Hola hola many times in that restaurant but notes that only when the owner is there they have everything that is in the menu especially it happens yesterday I was there around 4pm to have some food since my son loves the food so I asked for shakes or smoothies and Ana told me there are none of those drinks available so I’m fine with that so we pick some juice/ water but I saw the other server did the shakes (batidas) for the other person!!! So I feel discriminate or Ana just doesn’t know or like to make that I wish I can talk to the owner in person about the situation (service should be at the same level no matter who you are or where you come from)

Such a great place to eat. The food was cooked perfectly and the platting and presentation was excellent. I would recommend everyone to try this place out. This might be your next best favorite restaurant.

First, I'm a foodie and a top reviewer so I don't give one star if you don't deserve it. I called this store Sunday morning June 15 Father's Day, excited to try Ecuadorian food for the first time. The lady said I don't speak English twice and hung up the phone, I was infuriated, to say the least. I love immigrants I'm one, but that behavior was unacceptable, I asked her if you only service Spanish-speaking people and she said yes. If that's not discrimination then idk what is. There are many bilingual individuals, and the owner needs to replace the host, and have her do something else like prep maybe.

Sabor Ecuatoriano serves genuinely homemade-style Ecuadorian cuisine, complete with signature dishes like arroz marinero (seafood rice), sopa de encebollado (fish and onion soup), hearty llapingachos, and ceviche—bringing a true taste of the Andes and Tropics to the table

Nothing fancy, but not unsafe for being in waterbury. The atmosphere is always lots of South American worker and or South American with their families. The food was my favorite so far in the area. Not too many good restaurants in the in are. This is more of an authentic Ecuadorian place. I will be having lunch here anytime I'm in Waterbury.
