Edit: Went back the next day and was greeted by same rad guy serving the most amazing food. Will recommend the hell out of this place to everyone! Original review: Friendly dude recommended the brisket burrito with green chile, possibly the best burrito of my life. This will be my new favorite lunch spot in the area. Today was my first time trying SA, I have passed it so many times and figured it was time to give it a try. It was truly such a great experience. Extremely friendly and welcoming, recommended their most popular burrito (brisket) so I went with that. Super flavorful, savory and HUGE, went in during a lunch special and I can just say that the value of what I got for the amount I paid can’t even be beat and I mean that. Thank you! Also tried the green chile Mac n cheese which was really bomb to!

SA BBQ is AMAZING! Their food is stand out, and the customer service was phenomenal! If you’re looking for BBQ in Albuquerque you’ve found the best spot, not to mention the burritos that come out of their food truck!! Actually amazing cannot recommend it enough!!

Been going here for a year now, and can easily say this is my favorite BBQ in the city (maybe even the world!) Aggie and the boys have been taking good care of me and my friends. Get anything with brisket, borracho beans, or their chicharrones. Their burritos blow any other place out of the water by far.
