Ruth's Chris Steak House

Ruth’s Chris offers valet service which was a great start to our night. We had reservations yet waited 15 minutes to be seated. After sitting at the table a coat check was offered. It seems that a restaurant should offer this upon arrival especially since coats are kept by the hostess desk. Drinks, salads, and appetizers came out timely and well spaced out. However, dinner was quite a wait. Server kept our drinks filled, although coffee refills was not offered. One person is a vegetarian, menu states options are available upon request. When asked, broccoli steak or a pasta dish with the mac and cheese base was offered. The pasta dish was ordered. My husband and I chose to celebrate our anniversary here, and we couldn't be happier that we did. Our Server, Frankie, and the GM, Kasey, really rolled out the red carpet for us. Everything was delicious. I recommend trying the brown butter old fashioned before it disappears. Best cocktail I've ever had. We both had a filet and lobster tail which were so tasty. But I have to say that the French onion soup and creamed spinach were the also the best I've ever had. Neither the creme brulee nor the cheesecake disappointed. So creamy and flavorful. I can't wait to eat here again.

Feb 2026 - As usual, a visit to Ruth's Chris is a visit of pure satisfaction and happiness. The service is always exactly what you'd expect and the food is what you need. Every single thing was great. Service, food, wine, attention to detail and delivery was exceptional. July 2025 - I don't have a Ruth's Chris near me but was really craving them. We hit the road to Columbus. We made last-minute reservations, but it all worked out. The food, as always, was excellent. I don't think I could complain if I tried. The service was good. However, we had to ask for every single refill. Other than that, everything was good, timely, and as expected. We also arrived at the perfect time. It wasn't too busy. It did start getting crowded about 30 minutes in. It was disruptive to my experience.

My wife and I spent our Friday’s eating here for Valentine’s Day. We spent $400 on drinks and dinner. Service was mediocre. Table wasn’t ready at the time of our reservation. Waitress forgot and admitted to forgetting to put in the addition of a lobster tail. It came at the end of the meal when we were both full and essentially done. No apology no discount or anything. Our waitress also took FOREVER to bring us the check. Over 15 minutes just waiting we finally had to ask someone to bring us our server so we could cash out. Ultimately she never came and we had to settle up with someone else. She did come out at the end once we had paid. Food was fine but also mediocre. Food was excellent and Michelle Lynn gave superb service. She was very knowledgeable about the menu with prompt suggestions for my daughter’s wine selection, sweet Moscato.
