Was underwhelmed by lunch here…was fine, just nothing to rave about but was pleasantly surprised by dinner. There’s obviously not much around so slim pickings in Sugarbush…I thought the dinners were hearty and welcome after a long day of skiing. I had the meatloaf which came with lots of mashed potatoes. My son the steak frites which was a good portion and my other son the smash burger. Decent beer selection on tap and nice apres ski environment.

We really coming here, either for apres ski drinks and appetizers or dinner (heavy meals or salads all yum). Good for sitting outside during summer and cozy in the winter. Can’t go wrong.

Our go-to spot for dinner for every Sugarbush trip. We've never popped in for breakfast or lunch, so I can't speak to those menus. However, I get the Mediterranean Bowl every dinner because it's just that good. Their Maple Crème Brûlée is also to die for. We always get the best service here and the room itself is big and beautiful with a great view of the slopes. A must-try! Plus, as others have mentioned, the restaurant is named after the cutest Bernese Mountain Dog who is prominently pictured on the wall as soon as you walk in. This review was made in connection with a Toast promotion.

We sat at the bar. The servers were kind, the charcuterie plate was served timely and delicious along with light alcohol drinks. However, a wonder we had when we went to sit at the bar and saw little kids bellied up with their parents drinking hard alcohol drinks and children eating kids food and playing on their electronic games is.., “Is this legal in Vermont?” We are surprised these parents weren’t required to sit down and away from the bar or at least at a table especially during adult after ski Apres’. Is there a county or state law here with an allowance for infants up through age 20 to be able to sit at a mixed drink/alcohol bar? Signed, Uncomfortable with this choice

I had the NY strip and my husband had the Gnocchi. Both were VERY good. My daughters ordered chicken strips which were over cooked and dry. Service was not good. At 3:50 we were handed a lunch menu without being given the option to wait for dinner menu at 4 until we inquired. One of my daughters got a Shirley Temple which was made incorrectly or there was no carbonation left in the machine- so we just asked to switch to a Rootbeer which was no problem but it took probably 20-25 min for her to bring it. Our appetizer came out of the kitchen before we got our drinks. (We got wings-very good). Just a lot of small things added up and when you’re paying $200+ for a family of 5 to eat out, I’d prefer a bit better service. Like I said the adult meals and appetizer were delicious, was just the ser
