This is a very authentic Japanese sushi restaurant. The environment is elegant and pleasant, and the hygiene is impeccable. Alvin's sushi never disappoints. it's simply a work of art for the taste buds! The fish is incredibly fresh and beautifully presented. They've also introduced a new product, the popular pork belly, which you should definitely try—I forgot to take a picture of it. Highly recommended! The fish is always fresh, the rolls are perfectly made, and the presentation is on point without being flashy…while still feeling authentic. They truly care about the quality of each dish they create. Alvin and his staff are always friendly, attentive, and consistent. If you like real sushi done right, Rukaa Sushi is the place.

Every piece of fish is incredibly fresh and beautifully presented. The Crispy Spicy Tuna (crispy rice topped with diced spicy tuna) is a must-try—a perfect harmony of crunchy, savory, and spicy flavors that is simply chef’s kiss. I also highly recommend the Hand of Merle roll, which features a generous mix of spicy tuna, snow crab, and cucumber, topped with shrimp and hamachi. Even the cooked dishes shine; the Teriyaki Chicken was some of the best I’ve ever tasted, and the Vegetable Roll was wonderfully refreshing, especially when paired with their ponzu sauce. What a treat to have a new sushi restaurant in town! I usually get the sashimi combos at sushi restaurants and at Rukaa it's the Rukaa combo. For rolls I recommend the 911, Baja and Hurricane rolls. Also great are Hand of Merle and WTF. And for extra spice ask for the ghost pepper sauce on the side. Get to know the sushi chefs and maybe they can make something special for you. The salmon skin hand roll was so good! To top it off the ambiance and decor are so nice for a date night or hosting out of town guests to a great meal. The whole entire crew at Rukaa was wonderful - there's lots of joy and passion there. Tip: the entrance is tricky and comes up on you fast. Love that there is a sushi restaurant with a chic vibe. The decor and food is fabulous. We enjoyed everything we ordered and the customer service is world class.
