This is an Americanized Mexican restaurant and is NOT authentic Mexican food. I am new to the Quad Cities area from MSP and was told I had to try this place as it is a staple in the Quad Cities area. The food was good but not great and extremely inexpensive 👌 Parking was super convenient, establishment was super clean, restrooms were super clean, service and staff were super friendly and extremely helpful. Service was very quick and overall food was very good for an Americanized Mexican restaurant. Overall I am very impressed with the establishment and the service as a whole and again good Americanized Mexican food but this is not an authentic Mexican restaurant. I had 3 hard tacos and a side of chips and queso. The tacos were smothered in cheese and filled with a lot of meat. I learned they make a house salsa (medium thickness) that is very much to my liking versus the thin and runny hot sauce at each table. You just gotta ask for it and they'll bring some out to you.

Can't do it anymore. The last 3 times I've ordered food I've ordered it with no salad because if it's actually hot , the lettuce is usually soggy by the time you get home. I got: Cold food, full of lettuce and tomatoes Cold food Cold food full of lettuce and tomatoes. Overpriced, not really that good, not even warm enough to melt cheese, and can't even get the order right.

Took my 5 & 7 year old Grandchildren to Eldridge Rudy's for first time. They love tacos and rice from Rudy's.The blonde female at counter was super nice, friendly and helpful. The only complaint was from my 5 year old Grandaughter. She said the restaurant was scary looking. When I asked why, she replied skulls. I have to agree, I dont like skulls either. Overall was a pleasant visit.
