We had an amazing experience at Ruby’s Restaurant! The martinis were absolutely delicious, perfectly balanced and refreshing. We also ordered the Double Seafood Tower, and it was simply divine – fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Everything exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great dining experience!
Very pleasant visit there! Teresa was our server and she was extremely friendly and knowledgeable! Food was delicious (I ordered swordfish and my husband ordered salmon) and portions were satisfying! Will be back for more for sure!
Ruby’s Rye, NY Great place to eat. We had 6 of us. Grandparents, parents, and kids. We all enjoyed tasting some various appetizers. Everyone had a different main and loved them. The tuna tartare appetizer was fabulous. Had had a wide variety of appetizers. It is awesome. The Brussels sprouts were great, someone loved the fried oysters. The seafood as great. I loved the Bronzino special with risotto. Someone loved the lobster 🦞 gnocchi, and someone loved the bouillabaisse with shrimp 🍤, mussels, clams, and fish 🎣. The standard dirty martini 🍸 with Tito’s was also awesome. Great place to take the family. Easy date night with room at the bar. We had reservations which is recommended for parties over 2-3 because very popular and popping.
Such a cute little place! Just stumbled upon it and so glad we did. The fish was cooked to perfection, the oysters delicious and the sticky toffee pudding, YUM. We ordered a dozen oysters to start and our lovely server suggested 2 of each. That was perfect as we were able to try side by side and pick which was our favorite. The whole vibe was lovely there.
I agree with quite a few other reviewers. It’s a bar that tries to look like a fancy restaurant when it’s not! There’s no specialties. Rather we can make anything kind of food options. We had a calamari to share. The oil they use were very old. We could clearly taste the bitterness. I bet if you are washing this down with a cold beer or a margarita you won’t notice it. And sure enough the fries we ordered tasted the same bitterness. It’s a shame for the price they charge. The daughter ordered the French dip. Her comment was I’m glad there’s a dip otherwise the beef would be too dry! I had the blackened cod. It’s alright. The fish was actually well prepared - very delicate and tasty. The side of white beans with bacon though was overwhelming the fish. And there were way too much beans.
