Ruby Valley Bed & Breakfast

This lodging is absolutely wonderful!! Very well stocked kitchen—dishes for all occasions. The decor is very Victorian—suiting the house perfectly. And the bedrooms? Stunning! The grounds are quite lovely as well—and have a wonderful resident donkey who loves carrots!||I will come back here frequently! Absolutely loved this place and the hostess, Nondi, is a doll!

We were in town for a family wedding and and used three rooms. Nondi was great to work with and made us feel welcome. We enjoyed the rooms and service and would recommend to anyone. Lovely decor and beautiful location. Rooms were great, and we were amazed at how well stocked things were in the kitchen. Wifi worked well. One of us made it to the hot-tub and we enjoyed sitting outside on the deck. Would happily stay again in the future.

We arrived at the Ruby Valley Inn and were greeted by its charming host, Nondi, who welcomed us warmly. We admired the wonderful décor throughout the downstairs - be sure to notice the extraordinary rack over her fireplace. Huge antlers! The indoor dining area is large and inviting and has a one-of-a-kind wrought iron light fixture Nondi had designed for that space. We stayed in a lovely bedroom. Light and airy and very comfortable. We had a great dinner in nearby Alder at Chick's and the next morning had a delicious breakfast. Besides the strong rich coffee she brews, Nondi cooks amazing breakfast dishes. We spent a wonderful morning enjoying her cooking and chatting with her before we were on our way. This is a charming, unique and very affordable B & B and we highly recommend the Ruby V

We loved our stay here and were so sad we only booked one night. Very comfortable, we booked the gable room on the third floor but it was too hot according to or host so she moved us down a floor to a beautiful big bedroom. Great location near Nevada City and Virginia City. We are vegetarians and our host went above and beyond with 8 bowls of different fruits, multiple yogurts, cooked hash browns, omelettes and muffins and banana bread, plus tea and coffee. The house is gorgeous and very clean, and the yard is sublime and peaceful. Highly recommend!

We stayed for 3 nights in this Inn in a very large 3rd floor room with super comfortable King bed and beautiful views of the wide open country side and the owners horses in the field just beyond. Nondi, the innkeeper, is so much fun and we enjoyed her company almost as much as the fabulous breakfasts she produced for us each day. Excellent coffee was available early each morning; lots of fresh fruits and granola; followed by a wonderful "main event". She had great suggestions for places to go and where to eat and even invited us to go out on a buggy ride one day when she hitched up her draft horse, Charlie, for a practice ride prior to a parade they were going to be in.||Overall wonderful place in a very special area of Montana.
