Ruby Tuesday

Oldie but a goodie! Ruby Tuesday’s Grilled Salmon and Endless Salad Bar is one of my favorite meals. Put that with a good cold Mich Ultra and I’m set for the night. I like sitting in the bar area at the high top tables where the TVs are. But what makes Vidalia’s Ruby Tuesday so great is the bartender, Amanda, there. She is very attentive, kind, sweet, entertaining and funny. My cousins and I laughed with her for 3 hours hanging out and having fun. The food was great and the service was fantastic! When you go, please tell Amanda I said hello and look forward to seeing her again soon.

The meal was okay but the cook must not have been feeling up to it because the Cajun fish and shrimp was not seasoned what so ever. The burger and chicken stripe my son had were pretty good. Not worth the amount spent especially the fish meal.

I ordered the Shrimp Scampi which they use penne pasta (undercooked), the shrimp were not fresh and over cooked and little to no Scampi sauce at all. The side order of Zucchini was not seasoned and portion for the price was ridiculous. Overall it was bland and disappointing. I had to throw it out. Ruby Tuesday in Vidalia keeps getting worse since COVID-19.

The restaurant is dirty. They just opened as we arrived at 1100. We were the very first customers and the tables were dirty. The floor was dirty. The booth we sat in had a metal spring that almost went through my leg. This is an accident waiting to happen. The food was OK. The waitress was great. The bathroom was filthy. We like to give people a chance and if the waitress had not been so nice we woukd have left before ordering. This location in Vidalia needs a good updating as I noted when leaving that alot of booths were ripped and it definitely needs a good cleaning. Do better. We will not be back, most likely.

All I can say is ask for Heather. She makes you feel like she serving you like a King/Queen. Attention to detail amazing and serve amazing!! She a keeper team. Food was fresh and hot.
