Ruby Chinese Restaurant

This is some of the best Chinese food I have eaten in a while. The shrimp fried rice was delicious and very generously portioned with a lot of shrimps in it. The General Tao chicken was likewise very tasty and well portioned. Overall, the meat and shrimp were also of good quality and not overcooked. The restaurant itself is very clean and well maintained inside and great care was taken to make sure that proper sanitization procedures were done constantly. When paying, my card was sanitized before being returned which shows a real level of care for peoples' safety.

I ate here once and I'm surprised to see some of the reviews from up to a year ago. I found the food really delicious 😋. I was craving Wonton soup so I gave that a try, with a main noodle dish. Unfortunately I never got the name of it because I asked them to pick and surprise me 😭. It's all homemade so certain days may be different, depending on how they feel. I feel like if anyone gave them a second chance they wouldn't be disappointed. ❤

Horrible experience. Ordered 2 combo dinners and a general Tao chicken. I’ll start with the worst. Found a fish fin in the general Tao chicken. Ya a fish fin. Wasn’t able to add a photo of the fish fin to the review but added it under the photos section. Chicken balls were dark brown in colour as they were cooked in dirty grease. Plum sauce was half gel and half water. When we called to complain and ask to return the non edible food we were just offered a discount on our next order. Basically threw away $70

I ordered takeout today, when went to pick it up the owner, Karen was wearing gloves and a mask and disinfected the door knobs and handle as well as the credit card machine as I touched them so everything would be clean for the next customer and to keep everyone safe and healthy. I was impressed at how meticulous they were. Their food was excellent and we felt good about the extra care they always take in protecting and serving their clientel, thanks!

Very very good. Fresh and tasty. I had the Cantonese chow mein and it was one of the best i have ever had. Chicken balls were my sons choice and they were amazing as well. My wife had a combo plate and it was all very good as well. Service was great and dining room was very clean and inviting. We will be back for sure!!!
