Rubi's Coffee and Sandwiches

Seating inside and outside. Espresso was good. $3.25 There is music and bamboo shoots around the seating area in the back. Kinda hard to find, not on the main st, gotta walk down an alley or go around back to find it. Well staffed, there were at least 3 people on and it was relatively busy when i went in but i didn't have to wait long.

Hidden behind Rubiner's cheese mongers is this delightful coffee and sandwich shop. The atmosphere is old school with beautiful tree decor in the dining area. The sandwiches were made with the fantastic cheese from next door and tasted amazing. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

Lazy, disinterested staff, made me the most disappointing, minuscule and expensive cheese sandwich . While one staff member sat on the counter and scrolled her phone the other one yelled customer names to come and get their food. Very poor customer service.

Coffee is good, but cappuccino in paper cup isn't so great (by the way, I asked about cappuccino to stay). The chocolate cookie was good, but chocolate chips are not so good. Can be very busy and I don't like rushes. I was expecting more...

Probably the best PB&J sandwich I've ever had. The toasted rye bread that I ordered it on was delicious. The jam of the day was raspberry & it did not disappoint.
