Rubio's Coastal Grill

Picked up a catering order from here. Everything looked perfect. Lots of extra napkins & silverware. Never eaten at this location but I might have to after I saw answers smelled their beans and meats. It seemed like every piece of meat was cooked to perfection. Once I set up the order, the customers began shuffling in immediately. Hats off to the chef and the owner who treated their employees to this meal!

I haven't been to Rubio's for years and it was Baja Fresh then. I saw an ad for the surf and turf bowl and decided to try it. Outstanding! Order was accurate (removed items I asked to), and was enough for 2 nights. Also saw some good fountain drinks when I went in.

Who is my favorite fast food restaurant? I love their shrimp tacos, and the texture of their corn chips, their chipotle salsa is incredible, so is there avocado salsa, I recently tried their fish and chips, and those are by far the best french fries on the planet (save for parmesian fries)

The tacos are good. The workers here are cussing up a storm and are messing up orders. My go orders are cold due to the orders being wrong and having to redo some of them. It’s sad. I hope there’s better staff the next time I get food here or it’s the last time. Thumbs down 1-25-2026 555pm Edit. Got home only to find out the after are orders where messed up it still want right. “Three 2 fish taco especial plates” that’s not what we got. The cashier has the worse mush mouth and we couldn’t understand him at all. We clarified multiple times and he couldn’t get it right. 0/10 If I go back and that same crew is in there I’ll turn around a leave.

Not good experience . I ordered Coastal Trio, paid tips 15% . Fish seemed fried quite a few times , tortillas hard and seemed old, shrimps looked bad as well, nothing is good. Beans in a cup is soooo salty, unable to eat them, went to waste, waste of my money. Price went up and food did not have the same taste as before, why raised the price if you can’t provide fresh ingredients to make the food taste good like before?
