Royersford Free Public Library

This is the best library in the area. The staff are really wonderful, they have a ton of kids and adults programs, mostly free. Very community oriented and helpful. They even have a pet library lizard (don't worry its in a cage!)

We love the Royersford Library! We take our kids there almost every week. Ms. Pam the children's librarian has created such a good, life-giving space for the young ones. Especially these days, we need safe "third spaces". Stay-at-home-parents who can't afford child care depend on these. It has been more than a library -- for me, as a mom with young kids it's been a place to relax and let the kiddos be free to read and play, somewhere I can print a form (who can afford a printer at home these days??!), the used book sales have made access to unique/out-of-print books much more affordable and fun, it's Roy the lizard's home, access to friendly and helpful librarians who know everything and where to find anything, etc. Thank you, Royersford Library! You are a part of our life!

Attended a scheduled baby story time with grandson. Was perfect for his age. Singing, books and play time!

My family and I have enjoyed browsing this library and discovering new books. The staff always makes great recommendations for my daughter who is just transitioning to chapter books. Everyone has always been kind and helpful to us, highly recommend visiting and supporting this local branch!

I am truly stunned and shaking. I made a suggestion, kindly, for the library to keep the egg shakers hidden until music class time. Our baby always enjoys them and Pam grabbed one directly out of his hand before music class. I was a bit shocked she grabbed it from him rather than asking us to put it into the container. It was just an egg shaker. I gently mentioned that it’s confusing since there are other toys out and just made a suggestion that they may want to hide them with other items off limits. I was not criticizing anything. Just an idea. She said “well, your baby needs to learn patience!” I said was honestly offended and feel this is inappropriate. I calmly spoke up “he is a baby and doesn’t need to learn patience.” I went on to say that he just really enjoys them and just doesn’t
