Royal Thai Bistro at Fircrest, WA

I had high hopes for this place but was quite disappointed by the food. It was mediocre. Thai food is my #1 favorite cuisine and I grew up eating it so I have certain expectation. The papaya salad was missing that oomph, possibly lacking fish sauce. The crispy garlic chicken wasn’t very flavorful and wasn’t as crispy as we hoped. Pad kee mao & green curry were fortunately good. Service was good. Personally wouldn’t come back here because there are better options in the area. Wish they can improve.

This Thai restaurant truly impresses from the very first visit. The dishes are authentic, flavorful, and perfectly capture the bold, spicy taste of Thailand. Portions are generous, leaving you full and satisfied, and the prices are very reasonable. Most notably, the staff are attentive and kind, always smiling and ready to recommend the right dishes. A wonderful spot for anyone who loves genuine Thai cuisine!

Craving Thai food today, we found that a lot of spots were closed on Mondays, so we decided to try this place. Service was quick from the start—they greeted us right away, brought water, and handed us menus. When I ordered, I asked for no mushrooms on one of the dishes. The soup that came with the meal didn’t have any mushrooms in it (even though my partner’s did), which makes me think the server might have gone out of her way to take them out for me. If so, that was such a thoughtful touch. The food itself was delicious and full of flavor, and the prices were very reasonable.

My mother and I save this place for when we want to celebrate or have had a hard week. The atmosphere is peaceful and lovely. The food is the best Thai food we've had, and we've tried many places in Washington and Oregon and found no equal. Everything is fresh and authentic. We order the Pud Kee Mao noodles and the black rice pudding often, although everything is amazing. The wait staff are kind and thorough with great service!!

Absolutely a memorably delicious meal. Every single dish was amazing. The vegetables were fresh and crisp. The meat was tender and flavorful and the sauces were exquisite. We ordered 5 dishes for 5 people and had left-overs still. As we were eating, a couple walked in and sat at their "regular" table. So good, people come bsck here. We grabbed a paper menu on our way out, we too will definitely be back!
