Craving kebabs, and this place offered the kubideh (ground beef)which is one of my favorites, flavors were very good, I tried the hummus, dolmas, chicken, steak & beef kebabs, all had good flavors, the ground beef and chicken were my favorite. The plate comes with a generous portion of rice and perfectly grilled tomatoes. The sauce was nothing I'd have again. They put 2 on the table in squeeze bottles, one tasted like buffalo sauce and one like ranch. The restaurant is small with just a couple tables, not sure I'd go there again to eat inside, but would order pick up for sure. We got a baklava to go and it was very good! We were told at the end of the meal, no cards, cash or zelle only, and I NEVER have cash with me except today, thank goodness! I guess if you order to go you have to Zell

Happened to drive past this place as I was googling where to eat and I'm so glad we stopped!! Started with a soup with chicken, veggies and noodles that just hit the spot. Was delighted to find sumac on the table with the salt. We shared the kebab plate with barg (steak) and chicken and it was amazing! It came with delicious rice and a salad with a yummy yogurt cucumber dressing. The meat was grilled just right and the spices were complex, warming - but not very spicy, and well-balanced. They had hot sauce on the table and a whole grilled jalapeño was served with the kebab, so we were able to adjust the heat. Even though we shared, it was alot of food and VERY filling. There are grocery items sold inside as well with a selection of drinks and desserts. The service was excellent. The man wa

Wonderful find! Ever sit down to eat and truly enjoy every bite? That was my experience tonight at the Royal Kabob. Entering the shop, we were immediately greeted with the smell of delicious spices and pastries in the glass display cabinet. Our waitress spoke little English but managed to communicate that she spoke Russian. We learned that this was a Turkistan restaurant and the waitress was from there also. This place was wonderful! I highly recommend you going and trying the incredible flavors.

The best food! I arrived from New York yesterday and tried this dish. For $20, I got a lot of delicious food 🥘. I ate three times in the evening, morning, and afternoon, and there was still some left over. The portions were very large. I recommend this food to anyone in this city—it's the best. A lot of parking spaces

The pros of Royal Kebab are that the restaurant has a very homely feel and leaves you at ease when ordering. Despite not being local food, the menu is easy to understand and their kebabs especially lamb and chicken are very tender, succulent, and grilled to perfection. The place definitely needs more recognition despite a limited menu because they know their food and provide you with excellent quality meat. Also, their food is halal which is a huge plus for Islamic followers since they don't have as many options available in and around St Louis. The cons are that the lamb portion is very little, the koobideh could be cooked a tad bit more because I've had Persian cuisine outside this restaurant and I feel this one lacked the tenderness and melt in your mouth texture. The chicken was amazi
