Royal India Grill

Best restaurant in Potsdam. Best Indian food I’ve had ever. We visit Potsdam every year or two and the Royal Indian Grill is our first stop. Don’t miss it!

Such a refreshing experience. It's a humble place with a small buffet. However, almost all the food is new to me. As a Scotch-Irish raised American, I found this this to be a delightful experience. The food is tame as far as spice. I'd say if you can eat spicy chips, you can eat this no problem. Next time I plan to order of the menu and request they make it like they would for themselves. Overall, a must try for anyone. Highly recommend, Five stars.

I ordered lunch to go. It was made before time promised. Food was hot, correct and absolutely delicious. Great flavor, good portions and service was friendly and helpful upon pickup. Will 100% order again.

Royal India in Potsdam is always a great experience, and a huge reason for that is Joy. He is one of the sweetest, most friendly, and welcoming servers I’ve ever had. From the moment you walk in, he makes you feel comfortable and appreciated. Joy takes the time to explain the menu, answer questions, and help you choose dishes based on what you like. He also shares insight into the food and culture, which makes the whole experience feel more personal and meaningful — not just a meal, but an experience. The food is amazing every time, but honestly, Joy is one of the main reasons I keep coming back. His kindness, knowledge, and genuine care for customers really stand out.
