Royal Hibachi Grill Buffet

If you’re in the mood for a huge variety of food at a fair price, Royal Hibachi Grill Buffet is definitely worth checking out. Located right off Route 46, this place is hard to miss and offers one of the largest buffet selections in the area. It’s a mix of Chinese, Japanese, and American-style dishes with a focus on hibachi and seafood. When you first walk in, the restaurant feels bright and lively, with plenty of seating and a spacious layout that makes it comfortable even when it’s busy. The décor isn’t fancy, but it’s clean and organized, and the buffet stations are well-maintained. If you want an honest review read this. The food was good. They had a good amount of options. The dessert was amazing also. The service was fine they would ask for drinks than come around and collect dishes whenever. The prices are. (At least on Saturday) is 20 dollars and after 3:00pm 30 bucks. It’s a cheaper option and is still good. WOULD RECOMMEND. ALSO on the tickets they say “please stay for an hour” we stayed a little longer and it was fine.

The food had no seasoning at all the sea food was very bland and the fried chicken was not fried enough. Just was not my tast for the food there. The shrimp Alfredo was ok it would have been better if the shrimps had some seasoning to it. The drinks was to sugary and the ginger ale was flat. Overall just was not for me.

The server was friendly, but we constantly had to leave our table and go to the service station to ask for things. They really need to check on guests more frequently. The bathrooms were extremely dirty — one sink has been broken for a while, and the other is badly backed up. The sushi tongs never seem to get cleaned, which is very concerning. As for the food, it’s decent, but it’s no better or worse than other buffets in the area. Unfortunately, they’ve really dropped the ball when it comes to keeping the food stations filled and maintaining the quality they had when they first opened. The dinner menu also had far fewer options than expected, and prices have steadily increased — all while the selection has gotten smaller. Wow! One of the best buffets I’ve been to in Bergen County. The food was fresh and a great variety. I especially liked the hibachi and grilled meats. A great selection of dessert and salad bar as well.
