Rove Sauna

This sauna is absolutely amazing — I’m so happy I found it! Aschel is a delight, and the guided sessions with essential oils feel truly luxurious. I’ll definitely be back again and again, and I can’t recommend this sauna highly enough!

This sauna experience is incredible. Aschel, the owner, is so warm and has put so much love into building the sauna itself and into crafting a special experience for guests. The sauna is spacious, with a wide window that gives expansive views to the greenery outside. Aschel does three rounds with you during your session, each one with a different essential oil that makes each round feel unique. And the water bucket is a perfect way to refresh between rounds! Can’t wait to come back for more.

Words can't describe the wonderful experience we had today at the Rove Sauna. As you approach the beautifully hand built sauna, you are greeted with a warm smile and friendly greeting from its builder and owner Aschel. Take off your shoes and grab a towel and step into the lovely cubby room where you can stash your stuff before experiencing full relaxation. There are three steam sessions within your hour long session. In between each steam or whenever you get hot, you step around back to the water dump zone where you can get a cold blitz of water to cool off. Each steam has homemade essential oils infused into each pour over the hot coals. Mind clearing and lung opening, truly wonderful. The location is easy and convenient to beaches and Portland at the wonderful Black Point Surf Shop. Wh

Amazing experience. Convenient, great temp, wonderful holistic experience. The sauna hosts have always set the tone for such a relaxing time.
