ROUTE 80 CAFE

We love Route 80! They have a big menu (think Schitt’s Creek big) and the staff are wonderful. Good portion sizes. Our recommendations: the chipotle chicken wrap (me), or an order of pancakes with a toasted cheese danish (my wife).

Went here twice while my parents visited. They loved it. I thought the maryland crab cakes were delicious. Good portions.

This is an amazing breakfast spot. A diamond in the rough I ordered a meat, lovers omelette with home fries, well done with wheat, French toast, a coffee and an orange juice. Everything there was phenomenal. The waitress was very attentive, and atmosphere was very friendly. What I love most about it was people were not on their phone, and we’re actually having real conversations. Enjoying life at the moment. Everyone is respectful I look forward to coming here once a week until my contract ends as a traveling nurse at the hospital

This was my first time eating in here and everything was great the food was so delicious and my server Tammy is a delight she made sure my granddaughter and I had everything we needed and she was so pleasant. We will be going back again.

East Haven needed a diner, but this is not the one it needed. Let me explain briefly what I noticed in my experience there: Upon entering, I was not given any direction if I'd be seated or if I would be expected to seat myself, but it appeared that I could just sit down anywhere. As I walked in, I was stopped by a friendly person, who I'm unsure if he even worked there. He was wearing a generic shirt for Crooks an Castles. Not sure how or if I was supposed to know that he worked there, but when I told him I was looking to seat 6, he seemed genuinely puzzled. I offered to split up the table for 3 and 3, because my group did not want to make it difficult for anybody. After saying nothing, he left and got another chair and tried to add it to a 4 person booth. We squeezed in, trying not
