Very good food, service was great, friendly people.

Very disappointing experience. The food was dry and lacked flavor. The facility was dirty, and the outside was poorly maintained, giving a neglected impression before even stepping inside. On top of that, the atmosphere was uncomfortably dominated by religious messaging, which felt out of place and unwelcoming. Overall, not a place I’d recommend.

While visiting family in the neighborhood, I decided to treat everyone to Take Out at Rouse's. The food here was delicious. I ordered a pork chop plate with black eye peas, cabbage, fried chicken plates with fried green tomatoes, chicken tender plate with fries, barbecue rib plate, baked beans, macaroni & cheese, hush puppies. The quality of the food was excellent for the value. My family is picky and they really enjoyed all the food. Everything was good except the BBQ ribs were extremely salty. The variety of sides and plates is plentiful. Make this your first stop for dinner while in Snow Hill and be sure to visit on Sundays for the buffet. The fried chicken, Fish, turnip greens, sweet potatoes and hush puppies are excellent. Wonderful service. The food is made with love here.

Had a really great experience this evening! Lindy was our server. She was fantastic! So glad we chose to stop there for a bite of dinner. My friend had fried chicken I had the flounder sandwich and the fried green tomatoes or the bomb diggity

Apparently it’s seat yourself. We stood for a while waiting and no instructions or menus. Waited awhile to be taken care of and to get our breakfast but on the bright side our meal for 2 was under $15. We each had a cheese omelette, potatoes and toast.
