Round River Baking

Matt makes amazing bread and baked goods. His Vollkornbrot is the closest I ever got to a German bread since living in the US. I am also a big fan of his sourdough and his cardamon cruffins. At Matt’s bakery you’ll get fresh products with the best ingredients. It’s absolutely worth waiting in line for that!

So good they get fewer stars than they deserve... The bakery is outstanding. Havent had better sourdough or long loaf since I was an army kid in Germany. The croissants are excellent. I only hate the crowd and the perceived rush. ... isn't their fault. But as much as I enjoy the product (and the great service)-- I dread getting up and getting over there early Saturday almost equally as much as I love having it. Too good to stay as small as they are.

I stumbled across this bakery while visiting the used bookstore across the street and saw that they were open the next day. I came just before they opened and there was a line down the street! It moved pretty quickly and when I got inside and to the front I picked out a croissant, a pain au chocolat and a raisin sourdough. All of them are AMAZING 😍 the raisins in the bread are moist and flavorful and don't make the bread soggy. Just wonderful. I highly recommend checking this place out and come a little early to get in line 😁

By far, and consistently, the best breads I’ve eaten. Also produced other baked goods, like crescents, cruffins, scones and cookies. Faves include multigrain, scout mountain and quinoa. Just tasted the chocolate cranberry Valentines Day bread, toasted with morning coffee. Delish! Available Fridays only. Thanks Matt!

The African meat pies are insanely good. They're not only delicious, but priced really well. If you try them, you won't be disappointed. I tried a caramel apple cookie today, too and it was incredible. Google is showing that they're closed all week and that isn't true. They're open. I stop there on my lunch hour for the meat pies and you should too.
