Customer Reviews
Lived in the area for almost a year now and have eaten here so many times, it's fantastic every single time! Affordable, delicious and wonderful, hard-working staff! A total gem, we'll continue to come back here 💎💗
We ordered a $30 thin crust pizza tonight as is our usual. The box was very heavy, when we got home we found crust that was over 1/2 inch thick and not fully cooked. We are long time customers no longer because it's Olando's preference to lose a customer rather than make good on an order. It was impossible for my disabled senior brother to chew it. When we called to complain (we have never complained before) at first the person was going to make us a new thin crust, then someone in authority told him no - no remake of the pizza, and told us next time to order an extra thin. There is no extra thin option on the menu!!! If you google and ask if a 1/2" thick crust is considered a thin crust pizza the answer is no - it should be 1/4" or less. It's so sad that the whole time I lived in RL from May '89 - Nov '02, I only made it to Olando's once. I've been here a few times in the last 10 years but living out in Beach Park making a much longer trek to get here. This past May my family & I were on our way to Spring Grove and I mentioned to my wife that it would be the perfect opportunity for lunch to catch up dining in venues in the RL area I haven't tried in a while. Being located off of Rollins, I mentioned to my wife that I was in the mood for pizza so naturally this place came to mind. You gotta love the 50s vibe here as well as those BIG slices of heaven. Olando's is truly one of the most iconic restaurants in the RL area and when in the mood for some darn good pizza, this place should be on your list of go-to spots. Their
Absolutely terrible customer service. My girlfriend ordered a Caesar wrap with buffalo sauce, something this place has done before. While ordering, the woman on the phone even put her on hold to ask the kitchen if it was okay — they said yes. When we got the food, the wrap had no buffalo sauce at all. She called back just to get it fixed. Instead, a man answered the phone and immediately started yelling at her, acting like it was a huge inconvenience to correct their mistake. Completely disrespectful and unprofessional. To make it worse, he hung up on her. If you can’t handle fixing a simple error without yelling at customers, you shouldn’t be answering the phone. We won’t be ordering from here again, and I don’t recommend anyone else does either.
Best local place. Been going here since a kid when I didnt live nearby! 50s theme. Ice cream parlor. Italian food. Meatballs and sausage are always on point. Try their desserts for sure!
