Rosie's Take A Break Restaurant

Very nice restaurant between Brockway and Brookville, PA. Friendly and quick service. A great place to support! We have a camp not far from Rosie's and appreciate getting good food nearby. The sweets options are especially worth the trip. A simple menu with good pricing, this place is a remote gem!

EXCELLENT homemade baked goods. Wide variety of options daily to choose from, also sugar-free options always available. Pies, Muffins, cookies, bars, brownies ALL are my favorites. The staff are very accommodating and are always smiling. All buns are baked in-house and the cheeseburgers are a step above the rest! Recently, there have been specials throughout the week that are priced very reasonably and every single one I have had the pleasure of trying, has been really good. Small, and family owned and operated and well worth the visit!!!

Stopped in for a late lunch when traveling about 2:30 in the afternoon. The place is dead no other customers. We figure it's 2:30 it's understandable. So we go in I see the special chicken and waffles. I'm like sounds great my better half ordered a salad. I got 2 eggo waffle looking things with a 1/4 inch thick (counting the breading) pieces of chicken that was deep fried to a let's say dark brown and a smidgen I mean smidgen of gravy. My better half got a less the expected white iceberg salad. I understand everyplace has an off day maybe this was that day.

Was out on the bike an got stuck in a rain storm an found this place fixed wait out the storm. An get a bite to eat went with cheese burger an frys staff where vary friendly an out going awesome environment will have to stop back

Wow this place was amazing. Seen it in middle of nowhere traveling and the food and service was outstanding. Portion sizes are great as well. I had stuffed pepper soup steak sandwich and loaded fries. I only grabbed a pic of the fries. A little hot inside but it is middle of July. Well worth stopping!
