Rosati's Pizza

I know they're known for deep-dish, but we ordered a large thin-crust Windy City which has spicy giardinera on it. It will definitely be one of my go-to pizzas from now on! The cheesy garlic bread is also THE BEST I've ever had! It tastes like they use real garlic! And, SO MUCH cheese!!!

This was the first time that I have tried Rosati‘s on Mills Civic Parkway. A little background about me, I’ve tried Orlando’s (now closed), Bordenaros and Scornovaccas. This place thoroughly amazed me! This place does not skimp on ingredients! Besides that their customer service is second to none! Marco, the owner was there and I talked to him for a while also, What a wonderful person! I ordered the veggie, which had mushrooms, green pepper, tomatoes and onions on it. The crust was out of this world and was done perfectly! The sauce on the pizza was what really amazed me, I’m Italian and I’m very picky with my sauces when I eat pasta. I’ll be honest, I was ready to complain about the price. This is definitely the most I’ve ever spent on pizza in my 11 years living in Iowa. But after trying it, I have zero regrets. Hands down the best pizza I’ve had since moving here—nothing else even comes close! The crust, the toppings, the flavor… absolute perfection. The deep dish was incredible! The breadsticks were loaded with gooey cheese, and paying extra for the thick crust on the pepperoni pizza was 100% worth it. Even the sauce had a little kick of spice that made it unforgettable. Today I order food for the sabbath days. I just got back in town. I didnt have groceries or time to cook before the sabbath started so I order pizza. If you honore the sabbath, you know, you are not suppose to buy, sell, trade. Cook or clean from sundown friday, till sundown Saturday. I paid for my food in advance. when I got home with my pizza and the sabbath had began their was hairs cooked in my pizza. Not one slice but three!!! i ended up throwing the pizza away and now I have to fast with no food till Sundown on Saturday. I'm absolutely upset about this! I'd never been before and just needed a pizza close to my mother's house. We were both blown away, the quality and taste, everything was spot on. So many toppings when I was handed the box I thought "shoot, I bet they gave me deep dish" nope. Exactly what I ordered. Absolutely the last thing I would have expected walking in. Oh, and the gentlemen working the front Absolutely killed it, pleasant, upbeat, friendly. I will absolutely be back.
