It was a pleasure to stop at Rosarito for takeout and be greeted with a warm hello. The owner/manager explained the menu to me, including the red and green sauces that are made fresh every day. I decided on a chicken quesadilla with everything and a wet pork burrito with both red and green sauces. I was happy that chips were included in the order. Food was excellent; the burrito was huge and delicious. Definitely a great value. Since that visit I have enjoyed the menudo, enchiladas, nachos, and all these dishes have one thing in common: great flavor and cooked to perfection. I look forward to Christmastime, when they put out the banner indicating tamales are available! It gives me something to look for as I walk or drive by during the holiday season. It is so nice to deal with a dining e

Super chill and relaxed restaurant that serves Mexican comfort food at a fair price and offers big portions. Their menu is huge and the food comes out pretty quickly. The shrimp burrito was great, very big and filling with lots of flavor. The staff are nice, and there is plenty of indoor seating.

Old school small town vibe! Love it. Good food good people! **I forgot to add this pic of my burrito. You can't beat this for the price! I go all over Cali & this country for a living & this place blows many out the water!

ChatGPT tells me it is because that is the tripe cut used for Menudo. Then it raises another issue: are there no other dishes made from beef tripe? I first encountered Menudo in 2016 at a restaurant in Azusa, CA called Taco King on Gladstone St. This restaurant was permanently closed, but it still has other branches open in that area. The original one was the first place I ever had Menudo, and I never found any better, even at their other branches. I don't have Menudo frequently. Firstly, I a

The food was great, service was friendly and quick, and the seating area was clean, and I would classify it as family friendly (our young kids didn’t feel out of place). We ordered the huevos rancheros and birria, al pastor, and carne asada tacos, and they were all good….if I had to make a recommendation, it would be the asada. Our kids loved the fries too!
