Rosa Rugosa B & B

Stayed here for a wedding down the street. I emailed to book and her response was very prompt. This bed and breakfast is so charming and the house is phenomenal. You are surrounded by family history and memories, which I adore. The Tropicana room was so cozy and the bed was so comfortable. This bed and breakfast is also extremely clean and all necessities were provided. I love this place so much.

This place is fantastic. I stayed with my husband and sister and all three of us loved RosaRugosa. From the minute we arrived to the minute we left was nothing but a great experience. The room was comfortable and clean. The bed was great with lots of pillows. The bathroom was very clean with lots of fluffy towels and great amenities. The breakfast was a true country breakfast, Peg, the owner cooked each morning and served pastries from local bakeries. She is a lovely person. I would not hesitate to stay here again. Every detail of this place was great.

We don't get around much, but we have been to places where design takes precedence over comfort. This is not one of those places. Neither the artful modern additions nor the country craft decor are imposing. It's all harmonious. Likewise, Peggy is such good company, deft in conversation and care, giving you just what you need, no more, no less. But that doesn't mean you aren't treated as special. Once day we told her how excited we were to hear a particular jazz singer at SPAC. Yhe next morning, we woke up to her music, which she had cleverly sought out from online music services. |From the moment we arrived, the welcoming and quite charming front porch charmed and relaxed us. My husband and I had an amazing stay at the Rosa Rugosa B&B! Peg was a wonderful host, the house and grounds were super charming, and the breakfast was delightful with many local products! We would love to come back sometime soon. Thanks again, Peg!

The food was amazing! Peg puts so much time into making sure she sources tons of local products for breakfast: the eggs, bacon, baked goods and even the coffee! (I am very food oriented right now because I am pregnant) The rooms are super comfortable and the bathrooms are beautiful and well appointed. If you want a true NY country experience that is cozy, this is your spot. You can just feel the love and happiness this house has held over the years. |
