What a great healthy option to have in this area. We had the El Jefe and Southern bowl and wow we were blown away! So much flavor and the portion size was massive. Southern bowl was out of this world the tofu was unlike any other I’ve ever had. Highly recommend!

The food here is so good. we had dinner here after a long day, service was fast and the line was easy to maneuver. I chose the El Jefe. that's my favorite. I make it vegan by replacing the chicken for chickpeas, and I add sweet potatoes. when I tell you this is delicious... I highly recommend making your own bowl or edit the signature meals to your liking. they don't disappoint. The dining area is great too, a beautifully decorated modern style decor.

Really enjoyed Roots Natural Kitchen in Midlothian. The bowl was fresh and full of flavor—everything tasted clean and well seasoned. The mix of rice, beans, corn, and chicken worked great together. Only thing is I wish it had a little more chicken, but overall it was solid and I’d definitely go back.

Traveling through town and stopped here for lunch based on food options and reviews. Great choice! Got the Balboa with lemon tahini dressing. Good flavor, fresh food. Quick service. Reminds me of a similar concept I've been to in the D.C. area that I enjoy. I see this place has multiple locations which is good to know for when I travel.

This was my first time visiting Natural Roots Kitchen, and I was really excited to try something new outside of my usual spots like CAVA, Chopt, or Panera. I even convinced my mom to come check it out with me! When we walked in, the place smelled incredibly fresh — like clean eating and good choices were in the air. I instantly felt like I was doing something great for my body. The food looked and smelled promising. But… the customer service didn’t match that same fresh energy. The interaction felt extremely rushed and lacked warmth — no greeting, no smiles, no real engagement. I wasn’t expecting over-the-top service, but some acknowledgement or hospitality would have made a big difference, especially with meals priced around $20 each.
