Rookies Cantina

Rookies Cantina offers a wonderful atmosphere with plenty of seating options, from comfortable booths to spacious tables and a large, inviting bar. It’s a great setting to enjoy their authentic Mexican cuisine. The standout dishes were the rice and refried beans — truly some of the best we’ve ever had. The shrimp tacos were fresh and flavorful, and the chicken fajitas arrived sizzling and perfectly seasoned. We also loved the chicken empanadas; they were delicious on their own and even better paired with the variety of dipping sauces. Service was friendly and attentive throughout our visit, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality of the food. We highly recommend Rookies Cantina for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Mexican dishes at a great price! 🌮✨

I went to Rookies Cantina a couple of days ago around 9 PM, and it was pretty empty at that time—which meant service was quick and attentive. The food was tasty with great flavors, and parking was easy to find at that hour. I’d definitely go back again to try more items off the menu!

The atmosphere and service was top notch. It offers authentic Mexican food. You get what you pay for and some to take home!

Taco salad with ground beef was amazing. Steak tacos were also a hit. If you are looking for really good Mexican food, definitely give Rookies Cantina a try.

We walked into the restaurant about 8 PM on a Friday night when it was busy and we still only waited about 10 minutes for three of us to be seated. They had quite a few options on the menu and everything was priced reasonably, especially for the portions that you ended up getting. The food was very enjoyable and we also enjoyed the chips and salsa for the different salsa options they offered. If you’re a local or even if you’re in town visiting, I think it’s worth popping over to check it out if you’re in the mood for Mexican.
