Butter pecan & Coffee madness were super cool! You can also enjoy playing bowling!! Man, it’s got such a nostalgic vibe. Feels so chill!
disappointing!, Booked a session online for an hour. About 45 minutes into scheduled session, the fellow we checked in with stood behind our group and announced to different worker that he had to go replace "a cotter pin". It caught my attention, because it sounded false/performative and I have a good BS detector. So, he runs along side wall, goes behind the machinery and a second later the lights on ALL the alleys go dark. When he popped back out we asked him what was up. His response was your hour is up and time started from when you checked in 15 minutes before session. What? No way we got there 15 minutes early. I have been going to Ron’s ice cream for about 30 years now. But in the recent 3 years I have become a huge fan of their ice cream. My favorite is the Oreo Cookie ice cream, Strawberry ice cream and the Brownie Caramel (I add whipped cream and sliced, toasted almonds!) I tried the Rum Raisin recently and it was delicious The staff in Hyde Park are always friendly and no matter how busy, they are always attentive.
They make their own ice cream and have candle pin bowling. Not many places like this left. A true gem and definitely a taste of the old school. Please support this place as it truly is great and very authentically Boston.
Really nice neighborhood spot. Not fancy, Not too much room to hang out with a big group unless you’re bowling, but happy, clean place with attentive staff. Obviously a local favorite and good flavors. If you’re in the neighborhood, definitely stop in and grab a cone or a round of candlestick bowling.
