The restaurant/shop Was really nice!!! It gives a country old western vibe. Really cool and local products. The staff is really nice,friendly and helpful! The server that attended me and my cousin was welcoming and helpful. The server and another would check up on us after attending other folks. Quite frequently,Which I liked a lot. The food was delicious!!! 😋 The atmosphere was great!! 👌 Wait was like less than 15 mins for my meal and my cousins meal. I would recommend this spot to eat at!!! 👍

Better then the other place with the train and the candy! The wings were so bomb! The burgers are so good. Go here instead of Miners Dinner...you won't be disappointed!

My family and i stumbled upon this place when the line for the Miners restaurant was crazy and chaotic. We had a really good experience with my family of six when I went a week ago. The service was fast, and friendly. Everyone in my family enjoyed their food. I got the chicken pot pie and it was delicious and the prefect size. The sweet tea was really good, sweet, but not overly sweet. The little gift shop is cute to. Highly recommend checking it out.

We stopped for lunch when we saw they allowed dogs on the patio. It was the 3rd time we’ve ever taken our dogs to a restaurant but we were on vacation in Borrego Springs where it was 100 degrees so we went up to Julian to get out of the heat, this review is more about Heidi who was a fantastic, over the top, waitress. She checked on us regularly, split our meal as requested and even gave us extra fries. She was an absolute doll. When we were getting ready to get our bill she asked if I wanted another iced tea and it was so good I said yes. She came out with the bill and two to go cups and after having pretty horrible service at another restaurant I was amazed at her thoughtfulness. The food was very good and our dogs were so good and comfortable on the patio! Thank you, HEIDI🍾

We arrive around 1:30PM on a Saturday and waited for ~15min to be seated. We ordered 2 bison burgers, country side steak and brisket. It took more than 45 minutes to get the food. We were starving!!! Burgers were good, fries undercooked. The brisket was chewy. The fried steak was OK. The server was nice, the atmosphere too, but not worth the wait and price.
