Rome's Pizza

I have been a Rome’s customer for years. I have always tried to support small businesses especially this one that used to be owned by Gus & Brenda but sadly things have changed. We came tonight to enjoy pizza and we left feeling cheated and annoyed. We waited half an hour for a salad and well over an hour for a medium pizza. You all served everyone around us even though we were there before them. You offered no explanation and wait staff wouldn’t even look at us. Seriously, you keep this up and your business will fail. Goodbye Romes. Oh! I forgot to add that we left out the door with our pizza, do you think it looks like it was worth waiting for? NOT

My passion for pizza was satiated at the very first bite! I’ve tried Romes Pizza before at an office party, but I must say the experience of eating their delicious offerings hot and fresh directly to the table was an experience that far exceeds having the food delivered. I encourage those of you who truly want to enjoy this Pizza the best way possible to make a trip to their cozy dining room! And I had THE BEST cappuccino prepared with What’s Brewing coffee beans, which is also a San Antonio Legend!

Had lunch here for the 1st time today. Hard to find food near UTSA that isn't fast food or a overpriced food truck. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable of the menu and patient with us as it was our 1st time here. The mozzarella sticks were delicious, me and my husband had a pizza to share but they do have personal size pizzas. He got Tiramisu and I had cheesecake with raspberry sauce. Definitely will be coming again.

I’ve visited a few times in the last two months. The staff is friendly, and the pizzas always come hot and fresh. They made the dough just the way we asked—sometimes thick, sometimes thin. Highly recommended!

The online menu looks great… too bad it has absolutely nothing to do with what they actually serve. Ordering from their website is like stepping into a parallel universe where the food might be good and the service might exist — but unfortunately, that universe is not this one. What I got in reality? Cold, bland, thrown-together food that tasted like it was an afterthought. If the quality matched the enthusiasm of the staff, maybe it would make sense — because the service was just as disappointing. Zero urgency, zero care, and zero sense that customers matter.
