Roma’s Diner & Pizzeria

After several times of horrible service we had almost gave up on this place until we had an amazing experience with a waitress named Amy…. Amy is the only waitress we will have and if she not there then we won’t dine in, she’s Michelin star worthy, she’s friendly, accommodating and always makes sure that all of her customers have what they need, never have an empty cup, and does it all with a smile even seen her smiling at the customer from hell the entire time they were complaining and treating her badly ,and the phone calls were in abundance and there’s several other tables dining in she still manages to handle it all with grace and a smile however I can’t say that for any of the other waitress. now we’re here pretty much once a week and luckily Amy is always there! Definitely recommend

A no-frills diner with great food. Stopped here on a Sunday morning on our way back to PA. It was not crowded at all. Service was a little slow but the food was out of this world and very reasonably priced. Large portions. The scrapple was cooked perfectly. We paid $45 for 3 of us. No wait on a Sunday morning. I would recommend this place if you're on Route 13 and you're in need of a good meal. It was Egg-ceptional.

Good food overall. I love Pizza, in my opinion the sauce makes the pizza, accompanied by a great crust. The crust is great, but a regular pizza ordered with regular sauce (in my opinion) isn't great. I always order extra sauce, and of course it comes with extra cost. So be it, the Pizza is good. The garlic parm wings are almost always amazing. The chicken parm is good, sometimes a bit too much water in the sauce. And the steak and cheese Stromboli is awesome. Staff is always upbeat and welcoming, couldn't ask for better service. I have been in there on busy nights and the tables aren't the cleanest. Overall though I love those place. Ok this is an edit. Last time we went here was in March 2025. We got 20 wings garlic parm and Alfredo. Both were horrible. The wings were dry dry, they didn't

Excellent homemade chicken noodle soup. Enjoyed our sandwiches. Very nice waitress nice to find local places when you’re traveling.

Driving up to NJ from Virginia Beach, my wife and I got "pizza" craving. But we don't want pizza from franchise pizza shop such as LC. My wife found this dinner and pizzeria in a small town along Rte. 13. Sorry to say, but the front of the shop was not so appearing. hesitated but we decided to go into. The result. Unexpectedly good. I got cheese pizza with mushroom. My wife got Stromboli. See the photo attached and we really enjoyed. I assume this place is local favorite.
