Roma Pizzeria

I’ve delivered pizza all over New Jersey, and I live by one simple rule: if I’m dashing it, I’m tasting it. That rule led me to Roma Pizzeria, and yeah… this place gets it. Roma Pizzeria is straight-up classic Jersey pizza done right. The thin crust has a nice crunch underneath but still folds like it should. The sauce is balanced—not too sweet, not too acidic—and the cheese is perfectly portioned, meaning no grease waterfall halfway down your arm. Respect. This is the kind of slice you grab once and immediately think, “Yeah, I’d come back here.” No gimmicks, no nonsense—just solid, dependable pizza from a neighborhood spot that knows its lane and stays in it. Why 4.5 and not a full 5? Because I reserve that last half-star for pizza that makes me cancel plans and rethink my priorities.

I was hoping for a hidden gem but the food just wasn't very good. On a positive it is a great value because the chicken Parm includes a salad and a generous side of pasta. They say house balsamic dressing but it's just non aged balsamic out of the bottle. No olive oil or seasonings. The chicken Parm itself was thin and cooked well but there was just not much flavor. The big problem with everything was that the sauce tasted like the can the tomatoes came out of. It wasn't cooked nearly long enough. The acidic aftertaste was so overwhelming. I would come back for pizza but I would skip the entrees.

Best pizza in the area (cranford, Garwood and Roselle park) the crust is delicious and perfectly cooked eatery time I go. I love the consistency with this place. The folks behind the counter are super sweet and always greet us with a smile. My kids go to school in the area and love coming after school. We’re New Yorkers so had a hard time finding a good pizza place - we were thrilled when we found Roma. Keep up the good work. I’ll be back next week.

Hands down the most authentic pizza in town. The wood-fired crust had that perfect smoky flavor, and the sauce tasted homemade. It felt like a little trip to Italy!

Ordered delivery and was pleasantly surprised. The pizza arrived piping hot and fresh, which is rare! The delivery was fast and the order was 100% correct. My new go-to spot.
