Roma Pizza - Coloma, MI

I've heard good things about their sauce that originated in Italy and has been passed down for generations. It didn't disappoint. It was also a pleasant surprise that anchovies were a topping option. You dont see that often anymore and it reminds me of my nanny that passed decades ago. ♡ I ordered a large with pepperoni, Italian sausage and half anchovies. Oh, and a small chef salad.

I've been ordering here for years, and I'll admit, my order is disgusting... double pineapple, double anchovie. However, I bring this pizza home, throw a few slices in a 400° oven for 5-6 minutes, and it is easily the best neopolitan pizza within 1000 miles. And I'd have to compare slice for slice to even say its not the leader. I feel bad for the staff that has to make my order, but my goodness, with the extra toasting in my own oven, this is worth every inch of the drive to pick it up.

Well they were the only place open so figured we’d try them out. Pretty bad customer service when ordering through the phone. Asked for light cheese and got the response “you know well cheese melts right?” Yes obviously cheese melts.. “The Sauce does not have a good flavor, the dough neither and wasn’t enjoyable. Honestly your better off with frozen pizza.

Oh my goodness, taste of yesteryear! Back in town and yummy, yummy stuff from back in the day! To top it off, our delivery guy, Aaron, was the absolute friendliest and respectful delivery person ever! Funny thing is he has a bit of history with my mom and brightened her day tremendously! Thanks Roma's and extra special thanks to Aaron! Oops, forgot the onions but who cares when a pizza is that yummy.
