Rolling Rice

Rolling Rice is a Japanese casual restaurant in Rosemead. It’s located in a large shopping plaza by the 10 freeway & CA-19 Exit. They have a vast food items on their menu from sushi rolls to udon noodles to ramen to rice bowl meal. We stumbled upon this pace during our visit at this shopping plaza. I perused their food and end up getting a chicken tempura combo. And it is fresh and taste great. Indoor vibe was inviting. Staff were competent, friendly and professional. Prices seem reasonable and competitive. Overall, I had a good experience and enjoyed my food very much. I recommend this modest Rolling Rice.

So it says they have Ramen.... this is not Ramen at all. Its basically a cup of noodles in a bowl, with meat.... literally. No flavor, no seasoning. Just boiling water and some chili. Very very disappointed in not just the food but the price for boiled water and "ramen" if you eceb want to call it that. Teriyaki bowl was okay, probably would've been cheaper at Yoshinoya. Baked salmon is not fresh at all. All frozen... never eating here again. This is instant noodle soup, not Ramen.

Paid $11 for a salad that was just some very thin avocado slices on a bunch of lettuce. I was expecting something better.

I ordered 2 yakisoba bowls. 1 with beef, one with chicken. I just got home to find a COMPLETELY incorrect order. I even repeated my order 2x!! This is so disappointing!! I looked in the bag and thought the bowl on top was chicken. It’s not. It’s eel and rice. $25 for food that is not in my diet and I don’t want.
