Rodeside Grill

We stopped at Roadside Grill during a 4.5-hour drive, and by that point we were extremely hungry — it had been almost 10 hours since our last meal. The first impression wasn’t the best. The person greeting us at the door didn’t seem particularly welcoming, which is always a bit disappointing. The restaurant itself was busy and fairly noisy, but that’s often a sign that the food is good. The menu has a solid selection, and the food turned out to be very good. Prices were also reasonable, which is always appreciated when you’re on the road. Service overall landed somewhere in the middle — not bad, but it wouldn’t hurt to smile a bit more while working. That said, this is clearly a much better option than the nearby fast-food places, and the quality of the food pulls the score up. A weak

The Cajun Haystack Burger was excellent. The ideal amount of crispiness and the sauce was delicious. The food came out quickly and the order for a large party was accurate and orderly. A great spot to stop at for lunch.

Nice dining experience. I had the senior tenderloin. It was cooked exactly as I ordered, tasty and I thought it was an excellent value for a simple steak dinner. Salad was fresh and very large, although I would have appreciated the incorporation of some tomatoes. Environment was cozy (wood paneled esthetic), and the service very prompt and courteous. They have a nice array of dining options, including several senior dinners. Will be back to try the fish fry!

Food was great! Very filling. The Pasta was a lot couldn't finish. Great service. Highly recommend

Never had a bad meal here. I've only had bar food: burgers, fish fry, apps, drinks. All good. I can't wait for summer when their patio reopens!
