Rocky Point Ranch

My mistake almost cost me a stay at this wonderful home, but Mr. Sam not only graciously made amends, but he and his wife also warmly welcomed us. The food was exceptionally delicious, the room warm and comfortable, and the bed and pillows were especially comfortable, which greatly alleviated our fatigue from the long journey. The beautiful, tranquil view from the window, along with the meticulously maintained lawn and garden, was also a welcome relief. The photographs scattered throughout their home gave me, as a foreigner, a glimpse into the transformation of America over the past century. I look forward to returning to Glacier National Park next year and staying here again. I highly recommend visiting the hardworking and honest Mr. and Mrs. Sam and their beautiful home. Beautiful room with attention to detail. The hosts were very friendly, and accommodating. As a bonus, the breakfast was great! Also… the setting and grounds were spectacular. The ranch is right on the Clark Fork river, with towering cliffs on both sides.

Incredible stay and wonderful hosts. The property is right by the river and we felt just at home. A very authentic experience in Montana, the hosts are lovely to speak with and location is very safe. Wouldn't change anything and highly recommend!

My husband and I spent four delightful, restful nights at Rocky Point Ranch while we explored Idaho and western Montana. We stayed in "Jessie's Room" which was spacious, quiet and had a very comfortable king bed. ||After flying into Spokane, on Day One we did a bit of sightseeing in Spokane, then took a scenic drive to the ranch by way of Priest River, Idaho, traveling down Highway 200 to Thompson Falls. Day Two we drove to the Bison Range on the Flathead Reservation, hiked and saw Buffalo - as promised. Two thumbs up! From there, Patti and Sam suggested we drive to nearby Polson for lunch and enjoy Flathead Lake. We booked Rocky Point Ranch for a weekend wedding venue with a small number of family and friends. We booked the entire lodge. From the beautiful setting with mountains and river to the amazing grounds, the location cannot be beat. Couple that with the large themed guestrooms with their own bathrooms, to the warm and welcoming great room and well-appointed kitchen and dining room, we could not have been happier. Sam and Patti, the owners, were so accommodating and genuine. It truly felt like we were staying at our friends house. They allowed us to take over the whole ranch, literally! Home-made breakfasts every morning were delicious and filling! The scenery is spectacular and the hospitality was amazing. Thank you Sam and Patti for making our wedding weekend a huge success! We wi
